TRAVEL AWARD FELLOWSHIPS. Deadline April 24, 2015.
Workshop covers 3 full days June 2-4, 2015. Arrival June 1. Depart June 5.
Workshop hotel – Inn at Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA.
Thanks to support from the USDA , funds of up to US $1200 each are available to assist 15 researchers to attend the training workshop. Applicants from any country are eligible, but air travel must be on a US airline* irrespective of cost. Applications are particularly encouraged from students, postdocs and junior faculty, especially those who are minorities, or are from undergraduate institutions and/or are from EPSCoR states or are from overseas countries that do not have established research funding infrastructures.
*Only exceptions are national airlines of the European Union, Australia, Switzerland and Japan.

- Write a one page CV. If space is limiting, please highlight any experience with fungal and oomycete genomes and bioinformatic tools.

Applications received after the deadline (April 24, 2015) will be considered only if there are funds and places available after all applications received before the deadline have been evaluated. Incomplete applications will not be evaluated. Successful applicants will be notified by May 1, 2015.
